I provide a safe warm  home from home environment. Our days are filled  playing in the garden, woods and parks where the children enjoy  picnics,bug hunting, building dens, digging holes to fill with pebbles and generally exploring their environment.

We also do rhyme and music time, baking, library, sensory and  messy play.

 

My outside area is designed to encourage imaginary play. There is a  tree hideaway, a fairy garden, Stepping stones that lead to a large sandpit with varies chutes and a gravel pit that runs alongside were the dinosaurs live.

 I also have  a  water table with sprinklers, an area to dig for worms and bury things, and a mud kitchen where the kids make the best leaf soup and gravel cakes . 

 

We grow plants for smell, texture and taste and also have apple and pear trees.

 

We hatch butterflies every year which the children love and have recently started hatching our own chicks.

 

I have 24 years childcare experience  through raring my own children and have been a  registered childminder 16 years.
